Finding your first home as a new student is not always easy. Here we list tips for you, regardless of whether you are looking for housing NOW or if you plan to start studying at LiU.

• Stand in the housing queue as early as you can! At Studentbostäder in Linköping you can stand in line from the age of 17, and at Studentbo in Norrköping you can stand in line from the age of 16.
• Find housing with private landlords in Linköping and Norrköping.
• Share a home with friends or classmates.

KOMBO is a free tenant organization for you as a student at Linköping University. KOMBO has the right to negotiate for the tenants vis-à-vis Studentbostäder i Linköping AB, ByggVesta Studentbostäder, Heimstaden and Studentbo i Norrköping AB. This means that KOMBO represents the tenants, you as a student, in terms of housing influence, rents and much more.

KOMBO also helps students with legal advice on various housing issues, finding housing and organizing local housing councils in various housing areas. Kombo works on behalf of the three student unions.
